Who I Am
I never planned to teach LinkedIn. I just wanted to be the first call — not the second choice
Before the pandemic, I built trust in person: walking the halls, catching the ‘got-a-sec?’ moments.
I wasn’t just in the room; I was part of the team.
Then the world stopped turning. The playbook I’d relied on for 20 years evaporated overnight.
I had two choices: disappear, or figure out how to build trust through a Wi-Fi signal!
So I shifted that same relationship-first approach to LinkedIn.
What started as a way to stay visible became the blueprint for The Social Selling Lab™, a way to build trust online the same way we always did in person: by showing up, paying attention, and leading with value. What started as survival became my specialty.
After 25 years in B2B sales, I’ve seen every version of “the next big thing.” What never changes? People buy from people they trust.
My work isn’t about going viral or gaming the algorithm. It’s about building a digital reputation that compounds over time.
Today, I teach modern sellers how to connect what they post to the pipeline they’re building - because content opens the door, outbound walks through it, and social selling connects the two.
If you’re ready to stop chasing and start compounding, I’ll help you turn LinkedIn into your warmest lead source.
Annabel beyond the feed…
When I’m not teaching sellers how to build trust online, I’m usually out building it the old-fashioned way…IRL!
I’m a wife, mom, and self-proclaimed LinkedIn lunatic who still believes the best conversations happen over coffee (and by coffee, I mean tea), a glass of Province Rosé or a mocktail (IYKYK).
Once a month, I host Linky Drinks — my offline networking experiment that’s basically “meet the people in your feed” but with better lighting and zero pitch slaps. It started as a way to skip 47 coffee dates and somehow turned into my favorite corner of community.
I’m also passionate about ADHD advocacy — I was diagnosed over 30 years ago, back when few people even talked about it. If I weren’t busy momming and building businesses, I’d probably be wakeboarding every day (okay, that was more of a 20s thing). These days, I’m happiest hiking, cooking, or making up ridiculous recipes involving cottage cheese.
Because whether it’s LinkedIn, the kitchen, or a lake somewhere…I’m all about connection, curiosity, and a little chaos.
